A weekend in Bratislava—stroll the Old Town, catch Danube viewpoints, and discover the city’s cozy cafés and bars. You’ll explore with an international crew (4+ nationalities) and a Local Coordinator who helps you avoid tourist traps and experience Bratislava like a local, through social activities designed to connect the group and reveal the city’s real vibe.

Weekend Plan
Day 1 - Welcome to Bratislava
We kick off the weekend at 5.00 PM with a welcome aperitif designed to break the ice the Erasmus way: easy, social, and fun, with a simple group game to get to know each other fast. Then it’s time for dinner — and yes, we’re going full Slovak: we’ll taste typical local cuisine, with our Local Coordinator suggesting a shortlist of non-touristy spots, and the crew choosing the restaurant together (it will be Slovak food, guaranteed). After dinner, we’ll discover Slovak traditions through a game: the Barathon. Think of it as a playful bar-hopping game where we go from bar to bar to discover Slovak spirits and drinking culture, while completing small challenges that naturally make the group interact and bond. We’ll end the night in the city center, and from there the rest is up to the crew: one more drink, a chill spot, or dancing — with the Local Coordinator helping us pick the best option based on the vibe.
Day 2 - Explore, play, go with the flow
We start the day with breakfast at a spot suggested by our Local Coordinator: everyone can join at their own pace before we meet up. After that, we head to the Old Farmer Market to get a taste of the city’s everyday rhythm: local flavors, seasonal products, and a glimpse of how Bratislava actually lives. For lunch: street food today? Or another local spot? Crew decides. Then comes one of the most Erasmus-style moments of the weekend: a city walk with a team game that turns Bratislava into a playground — clues, iconic spots, and a few photo missions that naturally mix the group and create inside jokes fast. In the evening, we choose where to have dinner together. Then the night stays open: bars, karaoke, live music, or whatever feels right — guided by the Coordinator’s local tips.
Day 3 - One last Erasmus-style moment
We meet one last time for breakfast. Then we gather for a final group moment: an international gift exchange. Each person brings a small object that represents their country (it can even be something you made yourself), and we swap gifts randomly — so everyone gives to someone and receives from someone, just like a little surprise across cultures. Think of it as the weekend version of the classic Erasmus international dinner: instead of sharing food from your country, you’re sharing a piece of it through a small gift and a story. And before we say goodbye… there’ll be a few surprises. But no spoilers for now! By 1.00 PM, we’ll be done and everyone is free to head back home (or keep exploring on their own).

Quick Trip Overview
Discover Bratislava like a local with an international crew (4+ nationalities) and a Local Coordinator who takes you beyond tourist traps. Between Slovak food, city games, and nights that turn into “one more drink…”, it’ll feel like Erasmus again — and you won’t want to go back to normal life.
-
Our Lear... Enjoying Agreement!
Some might call it a fake… Let’s just say we were inspired by something every Erasmus student knows well. Here’s what we mean: on the left, you’ll find what we’ll do in Bratislava — on the right, the “replaced activities” you’d probably be doing if you’d stayed home. So… are you in? 🍻
Katka - Local Coordinator
The Local Coordinator for this trip will be... Katka! Slovak born, sunny, and international at heart. Plus, she’s worked in several Bratislava bars and restaurants — so yes, her food & drink tips are the real deal.

Trip FAQs
Can I choose different accommodation from the one suggested?
Absolutely! If you prefer a different accommodation than the one we recommend, when you book your spot, simply tick the box “I prefer to find a different accommodation on my own". If you need help finding a different place to stay, feel free to reach out to us via chat.
Which activities will I need to pay for on site?
The only things you’ll need to pay for on site are meals and accommodation.
Is round-trip transportation included?
No, transportation is not included in any of our trips. That’s because we want to give you maximum freedom and flexibility — you can choose to fly, take a train, a bus, or drive to the city. This also gives you the option to adjust your travel dates: if you can, you might arrive a few days earlier, leave later, or even continue your trip to a nearby destination!
How long is the trip?
Activities are scheduled from 5 PM on the first day to 1 PM on the third day.
How Can I join?
You can book your spot on this page by clicking the “Buy it now” button. After filling in all the required information, you’ll receive your access ticket via email (let us know if you have not received it). In the following days, you’ll be added to the WhatsApp group for the trip, where you’ll be able to ask the coordinator any questions you may have.
I didn’t do Erasmus - can I still participate?
Of course! If you enjoy cultural exchange, new international friendships, and exploring a city like a local, you’re in the right place.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
If you need to cancel, the refund depends on how many days are left before the first day of the trip:
- 30+ days before departure: you’ll receive a full refund of the intermediation fee paid to Localizing.
- 15–29 days before departure: the intermediation fee won’t be refunded in cash, but you’ll receive a voucher of the same value, usable for another trip or service on Localizing (subject to availability and the validity conditions we’ll communicate).
- Less than 15 days before departure: the intermediation fee is non-refundable.
