Signing up takes less than 2 minutes and it is completely free. During registration, we ask for a few details: your name, nationality, gender, and travel preferences. Why? Because this is how we build balanced groups with at least 4 different nationalities and a good mix of men and women in every trip. Once signed up, you unlock the full platform: browse all available trips, see group compositions in real time, earn points, unlock discounts, and join our community.

Your Local Coordinator, someone who lives in the city and knows it inside out, takes care of everything: the best spots to eat, hidden gems off the tourist path, the real nightlife, cultural activities, and social moments designed to create genuine connections. The program is structured but flexible: planned activities mixed with free time where the group decides together what to do, with suggestions from the Coordinator. By the end of the weekend, you will not just have visited a city — you will have lived it, with people who might become lifelong friends.

FAQ
We ask you to register so we can build balanced, international groups. Your nationality and gender help us ensure every trip has at least 4 nationalities and a good gender mix. Registration also gives you access to the full trip details, group compositions, the points and rewards system, and the community features.
If the trip hasn't been confirmed yet, you can cancel at any time at no cost — your card was never charged. If the trip is already confirmed: cancellations made at least 30 days before the trip date receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the trip date are non-refundable. Full details are in our Cancellation Policy.
If the minimum of 4 nationalities is not reached, the trip will not be confirmed and no one is charged. In addition to that, if the group has fewer than 4 confirmed participants, we contact everyone to discuss the options: proceed with a smaller group if everyone agrees, switch to a different trip at no extra cost, or receive a full refund.
Yes, as long as the nationality cap for your country hasn't been reached. To keep groups truly international, each nationality can have a maximum of 4 people per trip. If the cap is reached, you'll be placed on the waiting list and notified if a spot opens up.
Points are our way of rewarding you for being part of the community. You earn points for every completed trip, by referring friends, by completing your profile, by winning challenges and prizes during trips, and through other activities and events organised by Localizing. You can redeem points for discounts on future trips. Your total points also determine your position on the community leaderboard.
Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world's leading payment platforms. Localizing never sees or stores your card details. Stripe handles everything in full compliance with PCI-DSS security standards. You can manage your payment methods at any time from your profile.
We aim to create groups with a balanced mix of men and women. To achieve this, our platform may limit the number of available spots for a specific gender once a certain threshold has been reached. For example, if a group already has significantly more men than women, the remaining spots may be reserved for female travellers until balance is restored. If you cannot reserve a spot due to gender balance, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as a spot becomes available. Gender balance is a goal we actively pursue, but it is not a strict requirement for trip confirmation.
